Happy 4th of July!

DH is in San Antonio, TX for a Kiwanis convention, so it's just me and the boy for fireworks. We decided to avoid the way-crowded park and opted for a newly-opened shopping center parking lot just east of the park. Turns out many had the same idea, so we just sat in the cargo area of the Tribute, and had a blast watching fireworks. We didn't get the sprinklers turned on us like a few years back.

Thinking about my maternal grandfather, uncle and great-grandfather. They all passed away on a 4th of July. (Different years, but same day). Sending big hugs to all of them this day. Especially to my Grandfather. He played a huge part in raising my brother and me, and helped us many times throughout our life.

My Mom called earlier in the day and told me she had a dream that I brought my grandfather (her Dad) to her to say HI. This made her happy. In Washington, fireworks are legal to buy there, so she said her neighbors were having a blast setting them off.
