I can't believe it took us 10 years to get a doggy door. Originally we didn't want one because we didn't think the dogs would use it, and then we didn't want to cut a huge hole in the wall of a house we weren't going to stay in (ha! 11 years later)...Then we decided they would pee in the house anyway and just go outside to bark at random.
DH introduced the dogs to the concept of the door.
(L) Caesar took a bit more time, coaxing and "smidge" more food.
(M) "Hefer Pug" just barely fitting through the Medium sized door.
(R) Louie got the hang of the door once he realized food was involved.

We bought a house with a doggie door and got Lucy the basset hound 2 years later..Oh I love it!
Amy, you're a smart women. Having a dogs should automatically mean a doggy door, LOL!
