He's been looking forward to this for so long.
He got a "SuperStar Student" sticker for following directions from the teacher for the whole day. The teachers will give one to every student at least once throughout the year, but it was nice boost of confidence for his first day.
He made a few friends today, but he can't remember their names yet.
(L) Here's the boy waiting for school to start. (R) The anxious parents as we were kicked out of the playground area. Most are still waving, taking pictures or video. Some were crying. I definitely had a big knot in my stomach. Kindergarten is the first step to "real" school. So cool.
