Halloween 2008

Here are some pictures from our Halloween season. The kids picking their pumpkins from the pumpkin farm, to the never-to-be-missed trick-or-treating.
On Halloween night, there weren't any festivities or door-to-door at our complex, so we went across the road to a nice neighborhood that appeared Halloween friendly. We were correct. Lots of kids out and about. Lots of scary decorations, and much candy to be had. At the first house, someone gave baby K. a Kit-Kat bar and she hung onto that candy bar for dear life. We had to pry the squished bar from her hands at the end of the evening. I was nice and let her have a whole Kit-Kat when we got home. Her first candy! At some point, she saw the light spot the flashlight leaves on the pavement, and she started to follow it around (kinda like a cat does!). That was cute.
DS scared himself a bit with choosing the "Scream" costume with the pumping blood into the face. That mask really freaks me out, and I don't like to look at it, especially with the blood added! The kids had fun, though, and that's what counts.
