Referrals came through today! Congratulations to those who've seen their child for the first time today. The babies look very cute! This is 12 referral days/working days this month.
We have 85 referral days left until 1/27/06!
If CCAA is able to continue this rate for referrals, then we have about 7-8 months until we see our referral. So, around July/August? Maybe this'll give us time to move out of state and get settled some before getting our baby. Of course, this puts us right around the time our DS starts Kindergarten. Darn. I guess Kindergarten isn't really considered "school" yet. Kids don't have mandatory attendance until 1st grade. Hoping that DS can go to my Mom's in Washington while we're in China. It's another stop on the way home, so maybe that's not advisable with a newly adopted child, but we'll see.
